Racing on TV This Week: Our Picks for July 27 – August 2
The racing calendar hits a proper midsummer peak this week. There's a six-hour sports car enduro on one of America's fastest road courses, three straight nights of crown-jewel dirt Late Model racing, the climax of USAC's Indiana Sprint Week, the fastest rally on Earth, and a brutal sand round of world motocross. Here's what we'd clear the schedule for — and exactly where to watch every minute of it.

Road America 6 Hours
The week's headline act is a proper endurance race. IMSA's WeatherTech SportsCar Championship rolls into Road America — a four-mile, 14-turn permanent road course through Wisconsin's Kettle Moraine and one of the longest, fastest tracks in North America — for a six-hour test of car, driver and strategy. Six hours is long enough for weather, pit sequencing and attrition to completely reshuffle the order, which is why this one rewards watching live rather than catching the finish. The GTP hybrid prototypes and the GT classes share the track, so there's almost always a fight somewhere on the circuit.
Ones to watch: the overall win will come from the GTP prototype class, but at a track this long the multi-class traffic is where races are won and lost — keep an eye on how the leaders time their run through the GT battles. Peacock carries the full race flag-to-flag, with qualifying the afternoon before.
USA Nationals
If you only watch one dirt race this week, make it the USA Nationals. The World of Outlaws Late Models descend on Cedar Lake Speedway — a fast 3/8-mile clay oval in New Richmond, Wisconsin — for one of the richest and most prestigious weekends on the entire Late Model calendar. It's a three-night program, Thursday through Saturday, building to Saturday's crown-jewel finale, with a huge car count fighting through preliminary nights just to make the show.
Why it's great TV: big money and a stacked entry list on a slick, fast bullring means slide jobs by the dozen and a real chance for an upset before the checkered. All three nights stream on DIRTVision.
Indiana Sprint Week · Finale
Non-wing sprint car fans know Indiana Sprint Week as one of the best stretches of racing all year — a rapid-fire tour of Indiana's legendary bullrings with series points and a healthy payday on the line at the end. The 2026 tour wraps Saturday at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, after stops earlier in the week at Circle City and Terre Haute's famous Action Track.
Why watch: wingless sprinters on hammered-down, slick Indiana dirt produce some of the most spectacular car control anywhere in the sport, and a week-long points battle usually comes down to the final night. It's all on FloRacing.
Secto Rally Finland · Round 10
Rally Finland is the event every World Rally driver circles on the calendar — the fastest round of the season, run on smooth, sandy gravel roads through the forests around Jyväskylä that launch cars over blind crests at frightening speed. Average speeds here are the highest in the championship, and it has long been considered the closest thing rallying has to a home Grand Prix for its Nordic stars.
Ones to watch: Finland historically rewards drivers with the nerve to keep the throttle pinned over the jumps — commitment matters here more than almost anywhere. Coverage runs across the weekend on Rally.TV, with the decisive Power Stage on Sunday.
MXGP of Flanders
Motocross doesn't get more punishing than Lommel. The MXGP of Flanders is run on deep, churning Belgian sand that turns into a physical war of attrition by the second moto — a track so specialized that the sand specialists can make it a home-turf beatdown. If you've never watched a true sand Grand Prix, this is the one to see just how different — and how brutal — the discipline can be. It airs in the US on CBS Sports Network.
