About the USA Nationals
First held in 1988 and won that year by Billy Moyer, the USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway is one of dirt Late Model racing's crown jewels. The race paid $8,000 to win in 1990-91, reached its first $50,000 payday in 2006 (won by Scott Bloomquist), and grew to $100,000 to win in 2025 — the richest race in Cedar Lake history and the highest-paying event on the World of Outlaws Late Model schedule. The 2025 edition was the 38th running.
