Championship night caps the Cook Out Summer Shootout, Charlotte Motor Speedway's multi-week summer series for Legend Cars and Bandoleros on the quarter-mile frontstretch oval where U.S. Legend Cars International was born. Season champions are crowned across the series' eight divisions after roughly ten Tuesday-night rounds. The Shootout has run for more than three decades and helped launch NASCAR careers including those of Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano.
