About the 64th Vermont Milk Bowl
Created by Thunder Road co-founder and broadcaster Ken Squier, the Vermont Milk Bowl has been the Barre, Vermont speedbowl's season-ending Late Model showcase since 1962, held every year except 1981. The race runs in three 50-lap segments with the running order inverted between segments, and the driver with the best combined score wins — and traditionally kisses a cow in victory lane. Marcel Gravel's 2025 victory was his second straight, the first back-to-back Milk Bowl wins since Jason Corliss in 2018, and his $21,900 payout was unofficially the largest in event history.
