About the Super DIRT Week 54 · Prelim
Super DIRT Week is the Northeast's biggest dirt racing event, first held in 1972 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, where Buzzie Reutimann won the inaugural championship race. After the Syracuse Mile closed following the 2015 edition, the week-long festival moved to a temporary dirt surface at Oswego Speedway in 2016. Preliminary nights feature qualifying and support-division racing ahead of Sunday's Billy Whittaker Cars 200 Big Block Modified finale. The 2026 edition is Super DIRT Week 54, running October 5-10 at Oswego.
