The Hard Clay Finale is the Short Track Super Series' season-ending Modified race at Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, N.Y., run during the track's traditional Eastern States Weekend on the five-eighths-mile 'Hard Clay' oval. Matt Sheppard won the 2025 edition for $5,000 — his record 59th career STSS Modified victory — and clinched the STSS North Region title in the process.

About Orange County Fair Speedway
Orange County Fair Speedway is a 5/8-mile dirt oval in Middletown, New York. The fairgrounds track dates to 1857 for horse racing and staged its first automobile race in 1919.
