About the Southwick National · The Wick 338
The Wick 338 was carved out of the woods behind American Legion Post 338 in Southwick, Massachusetts, with the first race held there in 1972. The AMA Pro Motocross Championship added the track in 1976, when Dutch sand specialist Pierre Karsmakers won both motos of the inaugural 250cc National. It is regarded as the only true sand track on the Pro Motocross circuit and one of the most physically demanding stops of the summer.

The Wick 338 (Southwick MX) is an all-sand motocross track in Southwick, Massachusetts, owned by American Legion Post 338. It is a long-standing stop on the AMA Pro Motocross Championship, known for its deep sand.
