The Truck Series first raced at North Wilkesboro Speedway in its inaugural 1995 season, with Mike Bliss winning, and Mark Martin won the 1996 edition before the historic track went dark. The event was revived in 2023 following the speedway's restoration, with Kyle Larson winning the comeback race.
