About the MARS Late Models
The MARS (Midwest Auto Racing Series) Late Model Championship is a Midwest dirt Late Model tour whose championship lineage dates to 2000; 2026 marks its 27th consecutive season of competition. Fairbury Speedway promoter Matt Curl purchased the series in December 2022. Farmer City Raceway, a quarter-mile high-banked dirt oval on the fairgrounds in Farmer City, Illinois, has hosted racing since 1938 and is also home of the Illini 100.
Jason Feger won three consecutive MARS Late Model championships from 2023 through 2025.
