The Chili Bowl Nationals, first run in 1987, is midget racing's marquee event, contested each January on a quarter-mile clay oval built inside Tulsa's SageNet Center. Hundreds of entries work through five preliminary nights toward Saturday's championship, and the winner receives the Golden Driller trophy.
